Octane Finance was established in 2018 by Dan Kirby and Dan Horner and we have come a long way in a short time.
From day one Octane Finance has always been about putting both the customer and the dealer at the heart of what we do. We are proud to be known for going the extra mile and we will always stay true to our roots.

The Octane story
2018Incorporated in June, The Octane Finance Team hit the ground running with our first deal – a Classic Ford Sierra RS Cosworth in Moonstone Blue, Full Recaro Seats and T34 Turbo with 367 BHP on tap!
The rest of 2018 was a whirlwind of meeting new dealers, making dealer friends and setting up our now famous Octane process & service platform.
20192019 was a great year for growth with dealers being added quickly via word of mouth, recommending Octane Finance based on our service levels.
Dan Horner lead the way along with the growing Business Development Team meeting 100s of dealers on site while the dealer support team smashed out the deals.
2020While 2020 may best be remembered for other reasons, Octane Finance still managed an impressive 66% growth even during the pandemic!
Octane Finance Sponsored Harry King dominated the Porsche Carrera Cup GB in his maiden season winning the Championship in style and making 2020 a success on and off the track.
2021Another year of growth both in terms of team size and also results with Octane enjoying nearly 70% growth thanks to our lovely dealers.
The field based Team grew to 6 with our very own Dan Sams winning Best Relationship Manager of the Year at the Credit Strategy Awards - What a year!
20222022 sees the Office based team grow to 15 and plans to further expand the field based Team (pictured) due to demand from dealers.
Octane Finance will always be a dealer focused organisation however, we see a niche service for clientele looking to finance specialist motors directly and Octane Finance is well placed to service this need.
2023Octane has outgrown our office in Rettendon and it's time to move into our brand new offices in Shotgate, Essex - big enough to house our team and our growing ambition to be the best & biggest dealer broker. We don't stand still at Octane and our team is as dedicated as ever to serving our growing dealer partner network with what they need, when they need it. More field-based business development managers covering the whole of the UK, extra new business processors & payout experts plus we have added even more lenders to our panel. 7 days a week, Octane are here for you!
