Octane Finance Sponsors Racing Driver Harry King

The journey began in 2018 when Octane Finance co-founder, Dan Kirby, crossed paths with up-and-coming racing driver Harry King while competing in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup. Dan, a seasoned racer himself, instantly hit it off with the young gun and from that moment on, Octane Finance has been a proud sponsor of Harry King as he rises through the ranks of the motorsport world.

With our unwavering support, Harry has gone on to achieve remarkable success, dominating the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain and the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, cementing his status as one of the most exciting young talents in the sport. During the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Harry is competing in both the Carrera Cup Deutschland and the Mobil 1 Supercup - the support race for Formula 1 - where he clinched his first win last year at Monaco.

For those of you who already keenly follow the racing champion, you will have noticed the Octane Finance logo proudly displayed on the side of his race cars.

In the world of motorsport, there are few things more exciting than discovering a young talent with the potential to reshape the landscape of the sport. We were lucky to have such an opportunity in early 2023 when we welcomed Robert De Haan into the Octane Finance family. At just 16 years of age, Robert had already demonstrated the raw skill, unshakable temperament, and unwavering determination that separates the merely good from the truly great.

Robert has already proven he is a force to be reckoned with on the track; in his first season, the young racing driver showcased his talent by clinching victory in the fiercely competitive Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux. He also established himself as a main contender for the 2023 Porsche Carrera Great Britain championship, a series renowned for its high level of competition and the calibre of its drivers. In 2024, Robert is contesting the Carrera Cup Deutschland and Mobil 1 Supercup alongside Octane Finance-sponsored driver Harry King.
